Young Africans Sports Club is a football club based in Jangwani, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Founded in 1935, the club play their home games at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium. Nicknamed “WANANCHI OR CITIZENS”, “Yanga”, Young Africans is one of the two biggest clubs in Tanzania, alongside cross-city rivals Simba.

Haji Manara was born on January 18, 1976, and his full name is Haji Sunday Manara ‘De La Boss or Bugatti.’ Haji Manara started his elementary education at Mnazi Mmoja Primary School before graduating from Bunge Primary School (both Dar es Salaam).
From Form One to form Four, he attended Chimala Secondary School, and from Form Five to Six, he attended Mzumbe Secondary School in Morogoro Region. His father sent him to Saudi Arabia for religious training before he attended in South Africa to study mass communication.
Football is Haji Manara’s favorite sport; as a student, he was an excellent player for Kariakoo United and other clubs. Despite the fact that his father and his family are Yanga followers, he has been a fan of the Simba Sports Club since a young age
According to reports, Haji fell in love with Simba through his maternal grandpa, the late Hassan Haji, who was the Chairman of Simba at the time.
