South African Football Association (SAFA) have honoured Pitso Mosimane

Pitso Mosimane has been recognized by the South African Football Association (SAFA) for his historic feat of obtaining the CAF Pro license, and the SAFA has also given its support and endorsement to the Pitso Mosimane Soccer Schools.

On Thursday, SAFA president Dr. Danny Jordaan and Mosimane conducted a joint news conference. The purpose of the meeting was to present Mosimane’s CAF Pro license to the South African strategist. Mosimane has been a member of the South African national team since 2006.

Mosimane is now the first South African coach to get the CAF Pro license. He began the course in 2019, but it was delayed by Covid 19 and just recently finished in Morocco. Mosimane is also the first South African coach to attain this accomplishment.

Dr. Danny Jordaan, president of the South African Football Association, referred to the event as “quite a momentous milestone in the history of South African football.”

“What we have here and why we are assembled is to recognize the final qualification of the CAF Pro license; the candidates were picked not just on coaching but also on achievements. “What we have here and why we are together is to recognize the final certification of the CAF Pro license. The applicants have either already won the CAF Champions League, the CAF Confederations Cup, or one of the other important events held by CAF.

“What we are going to hand over to coach Pitso Mosimane is the CAF Pro license, which is similar to, and the same as, the UEFA A license. ” This coach now possesses the qualifications necessary to lead any squad, regardless of their location, thanks to the A license and the Pro license.

“He holds the distinction of being the first South African to be counted among such coaches, who have now graduated, been certificated, and are recognized all over the world. This is only to reaffirm that his efforts and his abilities as a coach are recognized, not only on the continent but also here at home.

In addition, the South African Football Association (SAFA) has given its support to the Pitso Mosimane Soccer Schools, which aim to improve South African football by training players and coaches at the school level. This initiative will be implemented all throughout the nation.

Through the Pitso Mosimane Soccer Schools, “Jingles,” who is widely considered to be the finest coach on the African continent at the present time, will donate his knowledge and prestige to the local game in order to foster the development of the next generation of players.

Jordaan stated that “just about two weeks ago, we talked about school sport and of course we agreed that one of the things we must do is to strengthen school sport in this country as a foundation to eventually transform Bafana Bafana into a very competitive team to be among the best on the continent.” “Just about two weeks ago, we talked about school sport and of course we agreed that one of the things we must do is to strengthen school sport in this country as a foundation to eventually transform Bafana Bafana

“Because FIFA is running a special-focus program to focus on school sport, we’ve invited everyone from our 52 regions who is in charge of school sports to go there on the Monday of the next week in physical education.

“When I was talking to him about this crucial topic of school sport, I was pretty enthused by the effort he has done in this respect. I believe that it will be beneficial to the school. We are excited to be able to present a recognition certificate of a Pro license coach, who is not only thinking at the top about the CAF Champions League and the AFCON, but also at the grassroots level, which is where the players originate from.

If we are able to resolve those issues over the course of South African football’s history, we will be in a far better position.

Mosimane is currently without a club because he left Al Ahly two months ago. During his time with the Egyptian giants, Mosimane won back-to-back CAF Champions League titles, the CAF Super Cup, the Egypt Cup, and two bronze medals at the FIFA Club World Cup. Mosimane is currently without a club because of his success with Al Ahly.

Since then, he has begun a Coaching Masterclass Series with his technical staff in partnership with his agency MT Sports. The first event of this series took place at Royal AM, and he was also a special guest during Citizens week with Tanzanian powerhouse Young Africans Sports Club.
