SASSA gives Special Social Relief of Distress (SRD) grants to unemployed people who are struggling because of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Getting the R350 grant has been helpful to a lot of people. The current round of R350 grants has to be paid out by March 31, 2023.

 

If you want to change your contact information after applying for the grant, do the following:

  • Give them both your ID number and your application ID.
  • Click the “Send” button.
  • If you have an email address, please enter it here.
  • Please enter your new cell phone number.
  • Then click the button that says “Submit.”
  • There are many reasons why you might want to change your cell phone number.
  • You’ll get an SMS with an OTP that you have to fill in.
  • Click the “Send” button.
