How Much Time Is Needed To combine Matric Certificates?

 

The process of combining Matric results can take between four and six weeks from the time you submit your application to the Department of Education until you can collect your Matric Certificate.

 

This depends on the completeness and accuracy of the application materials. You must submit a Replacement Certificate: Change of Status application.

 

 

How can I amalgamate my results?

There are two methods for combining your results:

 

  1. At your local offices
  2. By means of the Postal Service
  3. At Your Local Offices

You may submit your application at your local Department of Basic Education (DBE) or Provincial Education Department (PED) office. The charge can be paid via postal order or check at the offices. However, the majority of banks are phasing out checks, thus it is advisable to pay with a money order.

How much does combining your Matric results cost?

R153 will be charged to combine your findings. While you await the arrival of your new certificate, you can purchase a Statement of Results including your combined scores. This will cost R55 and is immediately available to you.
