FIELDS COVERED, COVERAGE VALUE, AND SERVICE CONTRACT FOR THE DELOITTE BURSARY PROGRAMME

Deloitte provides scholarships to eligible students each year. Students pursuing a Chartered Accountancy certificate certified by the SAICA are given bursaries (undergraduate or postgraduate).

Each application is assessed individually, and the amount of assistance awarded is based on the information supplied. The bursary award covers a portion of tuition costs, required textbooks, and in some cases housing.

Students must undergo a three-year traineeship program with the company after completing their education.

 

REQUIREMENTS FOR ELIGIBILITY FOR THE DELOITTE BURSARY

Before applying, candidates must meet the minimal admission requirements listed below (please note that if you do not meet all of the requirements, your application will not be considered):

  • You must be a citizen of Namibia or South Africa.
  • You must be enrolled in or have already completed high school.
  • You must have achieved well in Matric Math (not Mathematical Literacy)
  • You must be pursuing or plan to pursue an undergraduate or graduate degree in chartered accounting.
  • You must be enrolled in or plan to enroll in a SAICA-accredited university.

You must submit applications online at http://www.joindeloitte.co.za.

When applying, you might need to submit clear copies of the following supporting papers (submitting these documents is necessary; if any are missing, your application might be rejected):

Matric certificate, if completed Matric latest tertiary academic record ID document (certified copy of Matric latest results, if currently in Matric),
