Wydad Athletic Club 2021/2022

Wydad Athletic Club commonly known as WAC or simply as Wydad, also called The Reds is a Moroccan sports club based in Casablanca. Wydad AC is best known for its professional football team that competes in the Botola, the top tier of Moroccan football league system, and have never been relegated from it.

Wydad Athletic Club 2021/2022
Founded on 8 May 1937, by seven Moroccans ,led by Mohamed Benjelloun Touimi. The first section in the club was water-polo, after two years on 19 June, Mohamed Ben Lahcen Affani created the football section and he was the first manager of the team .
Wydad has won a record of twenty one Moroccan league titles and nine Moroccan Throne Cup; the most titled club in Morocco. In continental and international competitions, the club has won two CAF Champions League, one African Cup Winners’ Cup, one CAF Super Cup, one Afro-Asian Club Championship, one Mohammed V Trophy, one Arab Club Champions Cup, one Arab Super Cup, three North African Championships and one North African Cup.
Wydad AC is considered to be one of the best and most successful football teams in Africa, one of the most popular clubs in Morocco.
The club also competes in basketball, handball, field hockey, cycle sport, volleyball, and rugby .
