BASKETBALL: Egypt announce FIBA AfroBasket 2021 squad

The Egypt basketball national team coach Ahmed Marei announced the final team squad for the 2021 FIBA ​​AfroBasket.
The tournament will be taking place in Rwanda from the 24th of August to the sixth of September.
In preparations for the 2021 FIBA ​​AfroBasket, Egypt have recently participated in the King Abdullah Cup where they came second after losing against Jordan in the final.
Going into the tournament, Egypt is one of the favorites to grab the title, having previously won the competition five times. The only country with more titles is Angola with 11.
Egypt will be playing in group B alongside Tunisia, the Central African Republic, and Guinea. The first clash for the Pharaohs will be against the Central African Republic tomorrow, the 24th of August.
